Harry Neely

Harry Neely is a native Carolinian. He follows a long family history of musicians and self-taught artists. Harry has studied with several famous master painters. He paints in the Flemish or Dutch styles using today's techniques and materials with more brushwork and color. "I try to capture the feeling of relief and depth that those old masters did." The grandeur of the 1850's shines thru in Neely's paintings. His preferred media are oils and acrylics. Neely's landscapes are often plein air and are executed in a more free style.
